How to Clean Your Ceiling Fans

We all know that our ceiling fans are the last thing we think about when cleaning. It is no surprise that it has the most dust and grime out of anything in our homes. Ceiling fans become a breeding ground for dust mites. If you are one of those people who constantly have their ceiling fan running, you are more than likely scattering dust mites all over your furniture and carpet. Dust mites carry harmful allergens that come from their fecal matter.

The easiest way to clean your dusty ceiling fans is to take a pillow case and slip it over the fan blade. Pull the pillowcase grabbing the dust, and slide it off the fan blade. Repeat for the remaining blades. When you have finished, simply empty the dust out in a trash bag and toss the pillowcase in the washing machine.

Remember to routinely clean your ceiling fans, not only for your own health, but the health of your furniture and carpet. Call Golden Glove to deep clean those carpets after you have completely cleaned all of your ceiling fans.
