I have used Golden Glove about 4 times now because my dogs are heathens. From the minute Norm and his crew walks in until done, they are professional, hard working and ethical. Thank you for a job well done each time! … Tara Pilcher

Carrollton is located near the center of Carroll County. As of the 2015 United States Census, the city had a population of 25,515. The city is rapidly growing as the University of West Georgia continues to expand.
The railroad also encouraged the growth of the fledgling industrial ventures, especially in the textile industry, in and around Carrollton. These early textile mills, mostly water powered, served as the basis for a textile industry that helped ensure the town’s prosperity well into the 20th century. In 1906, Carrollton was chosen as the site of the Fourth District Agricultural and Mechanical School, which became West Georgia College in 1934, and is now a 12,834-student university, the University of West Georgia. Local restaurants include the Corner Cafe, The Alley Cat, Plates on the Square (the upstairs bar is known as Uncorked at Plates), Max & Henry’s and Gallery Row Coffee Shop; all are within walking distance of one another. Gallery Row Coffee Shop was so popular, they decided to open another next to the University of West Georgia campus.
